Oscar-nominated film producer Mary Parent`s career spans over two decades, during which she has held key positions at top Hollywood studios like MGM and Universal. In addition to this, she also co-founded Disruption Entertainment in 2011.

Parent has been associated with the production of over twenty films in the course of her career, notable among which are the fantasy comedy-drama Pleasantville (1998), the comedy Role Models (2008), the monster movie Godzilla (2014) and the epic western The Revenant (2015). Of these, The Revenant was nominated for an Oscar for Best Picture, besides winning a BAFTA Award in the same category. More recently, she bankrolled the monster movie Kong: Skull Island (2017), the fantasy mystery film Pokemon Detective Pikachu (2019) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019). Her other releases include Dune: Part Two, Enola Holmes and A Minecraft Movie.
