A child prodigy, Nihar Gite holds the record of painting the maximum number of portraits of Lord Ganesha. His name is registered in the Indian Book of Records and in 2011 he held his first art exhibition with his collection of more than 500 paintings. The talented artist used the numbers 1 to 10, all the alphabets in the Marathi vocabulary and all the English alphabets to create the paintings. He has also participated in the television reality show - India’s Dramebaaz and was one of the finalists. During the show, Nihar got the opportunity to perform in from of industry stalwarts such as David Dhawan.

In 2014, he appeared in the movie Ek Villain. Nihar’s 2017 release includes the Marathi comedy movie Kaay Re Rascalaa directed by Giridharan Swamy.
