A French director, producer, editor, screenwriter and actor, Mathieu Kassovitz is best known for playing the role of Nino Quincampoix in Amelie in the Francophone countries. The founder of MNP Enterprise, a film production company, Kassovitz has won several awards in his career including three Cesar Awards for Most Promising Actor for See How They Fall (1994), Best Film and Best Editing for La Haine (1995). The director-actor who started his career in the film and entertainment industry as an actor with French TV series’ before eventually acting in feature films. His most notable film credits as an actor includes See How They Fall (1994), Jakob the Liar (1999), Amen (2002), Louise Hires a Contract Killer (2008), Rebellion (2011), Angelique (2013), The Bureau (2015) and War & Peace (2016). His 2017 release includes Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, an English-language French science fiction action film directed by Luc Besson.
