Matthew Broderick is an American actor and singer, who is best known for playing the eponymous lead role in
Ferris Bueller`s Day Off (1986). The movie is today considered a cult classic and the performance is Broderick`s best remembered role. His other film credits include Biloxi Blues (1988), Glory (1989), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1995),
The Cable Guy (1996) and the voice of adult Simba in Disney`s The Lion King (1994). Broderick also has extensive experience on the stage and as of 2020 is the youngest winner of the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. In 2006, he was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
