American screenplay writer Matthew Fogel, also credited as Matt Fogel, started his career as an assistant director in the comedy animation film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. In 2011, he made his debut as a writer and penned down the story for Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, followed by Untitled Strauss-Schulson Fogel Pilot (2016). His other credits include The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019).
