The member of the Remote Control Productions, a film Score Company founded by Hans Zimmer, Matthew Margeson is an American music composer who is noted for his frequent collaboration with Henry Jackman. Margeson started his career in the film industry as an assistant composer; he made his debut with Catwoman (2004) where he assisted Klaus Badelt. He later assisted Badelt for several other movies like Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King (2004) and Constantine (2005), before eventually collaborating with James Dooley and later Henry Jackman. Some of his most notable film credits include Angels & Demons (2009), The Expendables (2010), Captain Phillips (2013), Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), an action spy comedy directed by Matthew Vaughn.
