About
American filmmaker and screenwriter Matthew Ross is best known for penning and directing the noir thriller Frank & Lola (2016), which starred Michael Shannon and Imogen Poots in the lead roles. He first rose to prominence when his short film Red Angel (2007) was nominated for a Jury Award at the Tribeca Film Festival that year, and subsequently made his directorial debut with Frank & Lola, which opened to largely positive reviews.

In 2018, Ross made his sophomore outing as a feature film director with the romantic crime thriller Siberia, which starred Keanu Reeves in the lead role.
