Max Records is an American actor and photographer. Born in Syracuse, New York ,he is the son of Shawn Records, who also happens to be a photographer. Max is known for playing the character Max in Where the Wild Things Are and for his role as as Slater Pedulla in The Sitter, which earned him the award for the 2009 Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actor in a Feature Film. In 2016, Max was seen in the thriller titled I Am Not A Serial Killer, alongside stalwarts Christopher Lloyd and Laura Fraser. The American biweekly magazine Rolling Stone, praised Max for playing the complex role with great conviction. He has also appeared as a guest in the season 1, episode 89 of The Tonight Show, starring Conan O'Brien.
