Known for essaying supporting characters, Maya has appeared in movies such as Sali Badi Sataweli (2013), Ladaai (2014), Dil Lagal Dupatta Wali Se (2014), and Barsaat (2015). She has produced the movies Aakhiri Rasta (2011) and Sansar (2013). Her 2017 release includes the movie Mohabbat, which she has written and produced as well.
