A reporter-turned-writer and actor, Mayank Tewari made his acting debut in 2014 with the Hindi movie Sulemani Keeda. As a writer, Mayank has worked on the 2011 movie Ragini MMS 2 starring Kainaz Motivala and Rajkummar Rao. In 2017, he wrote the screenplay of Amit Masurkar`s Newton, in which he also acted. The film, starring Rajkumar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi, was a commercial and critical hit. His other projects include 2019 political drama The Accidental Prime Minister.
