A popular personality in the Marathi TV and film industry, Mayuri Deshmukh is best known for playing the lead role in the Marathi series Khulta Kali Khulena. An alumnus of the Academy of Theater Arts, Mumbai, had a keen interest for acting and performance since a very young age and took part in the cultural activities in school. After completing her graduation in drama and arts, Mayuri considered pursuing a career in acting and soon she got a lead role in a TV series.

After a successful start to her acting career on the small screen, she ventured into films and made her debut on the silver screen with Dr. Prakash Baba Amte - The Real Hero (2014) where she played a small role as a journalist. Her other notable film appearances include 31 Divas (2018), a Marathi drama directed by Ashish Bhelkar.
