Meghana Raj is an Indian film actress who works in most of the South Indian languages. Her father is a Kannada film actor who has acted in more than 180 films. She made her theatre debut quite young, acting with her father in the play Jokumaraswamy. She made her movie debut alongside Allari Naresh in the 2009 Telugu comedy movie, Bendu Apparao R.M.P. It was a commercial hit. Her Kannada movie debut was with Yogi in the remake of the Tamil blockbuster, Polladhavan. Her well known movies are Beautiful (2011), Memories (2013), Raja Huli (2013) and Aatagara (2015). She is cast opposite Dhananjay in T. S. Nagabharana`s movie, Allama (2017). Her 2019 releases include the historical war drama, Kurukshetra, directed by Naganna.
