Best-known for essaying the titular role in Disney`s live-action remake of Aladdin (2019), Mena Massoud is a Canadian actor of Egypt descent. Before his breakthrough role in Aladdin, he had appeared in supporting roles in television series Nikita (2011), The 99 (2011), Open Heart (2015) and Saving Hope (2017). He has also acted in quite a few films like Ordinary Days (2017), Run This Town (2019) and Strange but True (2019).
