Born in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Mercedes de la Zerda, started acting at the tender age of 15. Best known for her work in John Tucker Must Die (2006), Radio Rebel (2012), and Hemlock Gove (2015), she featured in the 2001 TV series Cold Squad. While she stuck to doing television series' for a while, Zerda's stellar career has had its fair share of big popular films as well like Punch (2002), and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017). In 2018, she appeared alongside Kodi Smit-McPhee and Johannes haukur Johannesson in Albert Hughes's Hollywood action drama thriller Alpha.
