Merle Kroger is a German writer, director, producer and film editor, who has worked in the German and Hindi film industries. She made her debut as a writer and director with the documentary, Soap Around the World (1997). Her other script writing works include I Am (2010) by Director Onir, Day of the Sparrow (2010), Revision (2012) and Havarie (2016) of Director Philip Scheffner. She joined Onir again in 2017, for his movie Shab. Merle worked with Onir and Adhiraj Singh on the script for the movie. The cast includes Raveena Tandon, Arpita Chatterjee, Ashish Bisht, Areesz Ganddi, Gaurav Nanda and Simon Frenay.
