Abhinaya is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. Despite being born with a hearing and speech impairment, she pursued her interest in modeling and acting. At the young age of 17, she made her debut with Naadodigal (2009). The film`s director P. Samuthirakani spotter her in an ad agency portfolio. The movie was a success, earning her a Filmfare Award. Since then Abhinaya has appeared in more than 30 films, including Kannada and Telugu movies as well. Her credits include 7aam Arivu (2011), Veeram (2014) and Raju Gari Gadhi 2 (2017). Her 2020 releases include Virataparva.
