MG Sasi is a renowned film and drama director and actor. He has directed the feature films Atayalangal (2007), Janaki (2010) and his short film Kanavumalayilekku (2002) won the National Film Award for Best Educational Film. He has also acted in the films Guru (1997), Susanna (2002), Oru Indian Pranayakadha (2013) and Avarum Kanniyum (2016).
