Born Mia Sarapochiello, Mia Sara is an American actress who made her debut in director Ridley Scott`s 1985 fairy-tale film Legend. She gained even more recognition with her next venture - playing the titular character`s girlfriend Sloane Paterson in Ferris Bueller`s Day Off (1986). The film is considered a cult classic today, with Sara`s role still well remembered. Another of her notable roles is the one in Timecop (1994), where she starred opposite martial arts icon Jean-Claude Van Damme. She won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress for the same. Sara has also starred in various TV shows and miniseries.
