Michael Goldenberg is an American American playwright and screenwriter who is best known for his work on the screenplay of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix (2007). He made his film debut in 1996 with Bed of Roses, which he also directed. It was followed by Contact (1997) and Peter Pan (2003). His credits also include the popular superhero film Green Lantern (2011). In 2020 he was selected by Disney to work on the screenplay of the fantasy and adventure film Artemis Fowl.
