A graduate from the National Film School of Denmark, Michael Noer is a well-known director from Denmark. He made his feature film debut with R in 2010, which established him as a talented director in the film industry. The film won several accolades which included Goteborg and Mumbai as well as the top annual Danish awards ceremonies, Bodil and Robert. His second venture was Northwest (2013), after which he moved on to direct Papillon (2018).
