Micheal Spierig is a German-born Australian film director, producer and writer. He is the twin brother and working companion of Peter Spierig. He, along with his brother, made his debut with the short film The Big Picture (2000) for which he was director, producer and editor. A few of his other notable works include Undead (2003) and the critically acclaimed film Daybreakers (2009). He now has the film Predestination lined up. He is associated with the horror-mystery, Jigsaw. The movie is the eighth installment in the Saw franchise. The cast includes Tobin Bell, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Laura Vandervoort and Hannah Emily Anderson.
