An author of more than a dozen novels. Michael Wallis is also a popular American journalist, historian and voice actor. He has received the Arrell Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Center for the Book and also has been inducted into the Oklahoma Writers Hall of Fame. He has provided the voice for several of characters in movies such as Cars (2006), Cars 2 (2011), and Cars 3 (2017).
