After making his foray into the film industry during the `80s, Eley worked with BBC-tv and Channel 4 for over a decade. He then ventured into drama films with popular movies like Notting Hill (1998), Love Actually (2003), Nanny McPhee Returns (2010), Blackbird (2019) and Made in Italy (2020).
