Known primarily for his portrayal of powerful antagonists, Mohan Joshi is an Indian movie, theater, and television actor. He is the recipient of a Special Mention at the 47th National Film Awards for his performance in the acclaimed Marathi feature Gharabaher (1999), and has appeared in over 250 films in various Indian languages in a career spanning close to four decades.

Besides negative roles, the veteran actor has also proved his mettle in comedic and character roles. Some of his noteworthy performances have come in movies like Mrityudand (1997), Yeshwant (1997), Gangaajal (2003), Garv: Pride and Honour (2004) and Deool Band (2015). Other significant projects in which Mohan Joshi played considerable parts and made substantial contributions include Pushpak Vimaan (2018), 66 Sadashiv (2019), Panipat (2019), Dosti Zindabad (2019) and Senior Citizen (2019). His 2020 releases include Miss U Miss and Kesari.
