Mohana Bhogaraju began her career in 2013, singing her first song "Sayyama Masam" for the Telugu film Jai Sriram. She gained wider recognition with "Manohari" from Baahubali: The Beginning, and her song "Bhale Bhale Magadivoy" from the film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy featured on the Radio Mirchi charts. Over the course of her career, she has lent her voice to more than 100 Telugu films.

Her work has earned her several honours, including the Radio Mirchi Music Award for Upcoming Female Vocalist for "Manohari" from Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), and a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Female Playback Singer (Telugu) for "Size Sexy" from Size Zero (2015). She won the TSR TV9 Special Jury Award for "Reddammathalli" from Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2018), and received a further Filmfare nomination for Best Female Playback Singer (Telugu) for "Redamma Thalli," also from Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava (2019). Most recently, she was nominated for the SIIMA Award for Best Female Playback Singer (Telugu) for "Oo Bava" from Prati Roju Pandage (2021).
