Well-known for his role as Shiva in the television serial Devo Ke Dev-Mahadev, Indian actor Mohit Raina started his career in 2006 in a science fiction show Antariksh. He made his foray into Bollywood with the 2008 film Don Muthu Swami, which was not well-received at the box office, causing him to come back to television. He then starred in Chehra (2009), where he played the husband of the protagonist and went on to appear in Bandini (2009). He has also starred as Emperor Ashoka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat in 2016. As of 2019, Raina is part of the cast of URI- The Surgical Strike.
