Morten Tyldum is a Norwegian film director and editor. He abandoned his ambition to be a musician when he entered film school at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He made his directorial debut with the film Buddy (2003), which won popular and critical acclaim. Soon after, he directed the movies Fallen Angels (2008) and Headhunters (2011), which became the highest-grossing Norwegian film of all time. He is notably known for movies like The Imitation Game (2014) and Passengers (2017).
