Primarily associated with the Bengali film industry, Mousumi Bhattacharya started her career in 2012 with the adventure drama Jekhane Bhooter Bhoy, playing a supporting role in the Abir Chatterjee-starrer movie. Post her debut, she was seen playing the lead role in the 2013 romantic thriller Hanuman.com and was cast opposite Prosenjit Chatterjee. Among her other movies are the 2016 action-drama Pratyavartan and the Biswajit Mukherjee-directed Prayas.
