Mrunmayi Supal is a Mumbai-based, award-winning Indian actress celebrated for her striking performances as a child artist in Marathi television and cinema. She rose to fame as Ishwari in Asava Sundar Swapnancha Bangla, earning the prestigious Maharashtra Times (MA.TA Sanman) Award as the Best Actress. Next, she played the role of Aavli, the eight-year-old wife of Sant Tukaram, in the show Tu Maza Sangati. Other television work includes leads in Hai Bandha Reshmache and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, and episodic roles in Lakshya and Lakhon Mai Ek. She debuted on the big screen in 2015 with Blackboard, playing the lead role alongwith Arun Nalawade in a socially relevant story about education. In 2018 she starred in Redu, a Marathi-Malvani language family drama directed by Sagar Chhaya Vanjari that won multiple Maharashtra State Film Awards and featured her as Saru alongside Shashank Shende and Chhaya Kadam. Her other regional films include Bhakar where she mastered the Varhadi dialect. Bazaar, depicting the harsh reality of women being sold in markets, and Bumper Lottery, a touching tale of friendship and hope. She also made a cameo appearance as Gopikabai, wife of Peshwa Bajirao I, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s epic Bajirao Mastani a grand historical romance that won multiple National Awards and became one of 2015`s biggest box-office successes. In the shortfilm Aabro, she portrayed a girl named Mangi desperate to shape her eyebrows, a metaphor for self-image and adolescence, a performance that won her the International Best Child Actress Award. She also played Gayatri, the adopted daughter of Gauri Sawant in the documentary Vicks - Touch of Care, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Her commercial appearances include a widely beloved Amazon Ganpati AD and a Government Polio Awareness Campaign.
