Lyricist, writer, and director, Mudassar Aziz started his career in 2005 by penning down the lyrics of `Dillagi Mein Jo Beet Jaaye` from Aashiq Banaya Aapne, following which he wrote the screenplay and dialogues of Dil Diya Hai in 2006. The same year, he was associated with the Sushmita Sen-starrer Zindaggi Rocks as its lyricist and dialogue writer. Making his directorial debut, Mudassar directed the Sushmita Sen, Ishita Sharma and Fardeen Khan-starrer romantic comedy Dulha Mil Gaya, for which he also wrote the story and screenplay of along with the lyrics. In 2016, Mudassar wrote and directed the romantic comedy Happy Bhaag Jayegi and later its sequel Happy Phir Bhaag Jayegi (2018). In 2017, he wrote the script of the Kalki Koechlin and Richa Chadda-starrer drama Jia Aur Jia, which also marked his debut as an executive producer. His 2019 release includes Pati Patni Aur Woh.
