About
One of the most established singers of the Indian Marathi music scene, Mugdha Hasabnis is a singer, performer, lyricist, and a music teacher. Certified to the 'Upantya Visharad' of Hindustani Classical Music, Mughda began taking lessons in music at a very young age. During her schooling days, she sang in a TV show titled Music Cafe, which was aired on Sahyadri Channel.

She later joined A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory and began training in Western Music. Being a Voice Major Student at the Conservatory, Mughda also learned the Harp during her time there. She was also part of the choir which was contributed to a song in the Tamil film Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya.

In 2010 Mughda participated in the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar aired on the Zee Marathi Network and finished in the top 14 finalists. She also received the Best Singer Female - Non- Film Award at the Kannada International Music Awards in 2013 for her song from the album 2way. In 2017, she sang songs for the movies Ubuntu and Ghuma.
