One of the most respectable movie producers Mukesh Bhatt is the co-founder and owner of one of India's most successful production houses, Vishesh Films. Bhatt started his career as a producer with the movie Jurm in 1990 but the movie failed to impress. However, his second venture, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, Aashiqui went to become an extremely successful movie. Following the success of his Aashiqui, Bhatt produced blockbusters like Junoon, Dastak, Dushman, Sangharsh, Raaz, Murder, Kalyug, Gangster, and Humari Adhuri Kahani among many others.

In 2018, he produced Pushpdeep Bhardhwaj's Hindi drama Jalebi, starring Rhea Chakraborty and Varun Mitra in lead roles.
