Mukhtar Ahmed is an Indian movie editor who is active in Bollywood. He started off his career with the 1964 movie Daal Me Kala, and then went on to be associated with several popular movies like Agent Vinod, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, and Babul. He then collaborated with director Sooraj R. Barjatya for the super hit film Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!, starring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit. He also worked on another Salman Khan starrer Maine Pyar Kiya. His other films include Zimmedaaar, Daata, Mar Mitenge, Desh Premee, Ek Baar Kaho, and Chitchor. He is also an actor who starred in movies like Mohabbat Isko Kahete Hain, Dost, Ladies Tailor and Ghulam.
