Actress Muthumani Somasundaram, known mononymously as Muthumani, is primarily known for her work in Malayalam cinema and theatre. A lawyer by qualification and an actress by passion, she made her feature film debut in the comedy-drama Rasathanthram (2006), which was directed by Sathyan Anthikad and starred Mohanlal in the lead role. Since then, she has gone on to establish herself as a popular character actress, and has appeared in over thirty movies.
