Having started his career in the entertainment industry and as a lyricist, he made his feature film directorial debut with Zunz Tujhi Majhi (1992), which was also his production debut. His other notable directorial ventures include Topi Var Topi (1995), and Chhand Priticha (2017), a Marathi drama directed by N. Relekar.
