After making his debut in 2009 by portraying the rather small role of Bhope`s Henchman in the Shahid Kapoor-starrer Kaminey, Nachiket Purnapatre, an Indian film actor, went on to play the role of Paplu in Vakratunda Mahakaaya, marking his Marathi film debut in 2013. The same year, in 2013, he featured in yet another Marathi movie titled Astu - So Be It. Among his other movie credits are Rocky Handsome, Ziprya, Mere Pyaare Prime Minister and Befaam.
