Son of acclaimed producer R. Lakshman, Naganna is an Indian film director and writer, working in Kannada film industry.
Naganna started his career as an associate director under K. S. L. Swamy in the film Jimmy Gallu. Later, he made his directorial debut with the 1994 film Samrat. Naganna is known for his impressive work in films such as O Premave, Kotigobba, Gokarna, Vishnu Sena, Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, which won him the Times of India Film Award for Best Director.
His other projects include Kurukshetra (2019).
