Namrata Singh Gujral is an Indian-American actor, who started out on the small screen and appeared on series such as Family Law (2001), The Agency (2001-2002), Dragnet (2004), and Passions (2005). In 2008, she was diagnosed with breast and blood cancer and was later battled both the cancers.

Having been a cancer survivor, Gujral turned a filmmaker and producer with Warner Bros` 1 a Minute (2010), a documentary that chronicles the diagnosis and treatment of a celebrated breast cancer survivors. Gujral was ranked as one of Lifetime TV`s Remarkable Women which has also listed women like Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton.

The filmmaker has also worked on several television-documentaries series, including You Can Thrive! (2015), Ultimate Survivor (2016) and Finding Match (2018). Her other directorial credits include 5 Weddings (2018), a feature film starring Nargis Fakhri and Rajkummar Rao.
