Actor Nandagopal made his feature film debut with the Tamil horror comedy Mo (2016), which featured Suresh Ravi, Aishwarya Rajesh and Ramesh Thilak in central roles. In the same year, he ventured into Kannada cinema with well-received thriller Kahi (2016) directed by Arvind Sastry.

Nandagopal has since appeared in supporting roles in a number of films in both Kollywood and Sandalwood, notably the romantic action drama Vaasu Naan Pakka Commercial (2018), the suspense thriller Trataka (2018) and the drama film Vinothan (2018) and Manasina Mareyali (2018).
