Nat King Cole was an American singer, Pianist and actor best known for his soft baritone voice. Cole's first mainstream vocal hit was his 1943 recording of one of his compositions, "Straighten Up and Fly Right". Cole’s various works include Catch Me If You Can, Watchmen and Groundhog Day. Cole was honored with Star on the Walk of Fame for “Recording” on 8 February 1960. Cole died at the age of 45 on February 15, 1965.
