A popular south Indian actor, Naveen Chandra is known for his work in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Having started his acting career playing small and supporting roles in Telugu cinema with films like Sambhavami Yuge Yuge (2005), Kalyanam (2006) and Agarathi (2011), he played the lead role for the first time in the Telugu romance film Andala Rakshasi (2012), which not only won him critical acclaim but also paved way for him to get lead roles. Following the huge hit of Adala Rakshasi, Naveen over the next few years starred mostly in Tamil films Brahman (2014), Koottam (2014), and Sivappu (2015) before eventually returning to Telugu cinema. His 2017 project includes Chandamama Raave, a Telugu-language comedy romance directed by the debutant director duo Dharma-Raksha. He is associated with the 2017 Tamil movie Juliet Lover of Idiot directed by Ajay Vodhirala, starring Nivetha Thomas in the lead role. His 2018 ventures include Deva Daasu and Aravindha Sametha, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. His 2019 project includes Evaru, directed by Venkat Ramji. His 2020 release includes Pattas. In 2021, Chandra appeared in the crime-thriller film Mosagallu and Ardha Shathabdham.
