Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe is the only band to exclusively perform the verses of the 15th century Mystic Kabir in a variety of genres including Rock, Pop, Reggae, Folk and Carnatic Fusion. They have given hundreds of concerts, including 12 Countries. Along with being a part of multiple television shows like The Dewarists and India's Got Talent, their songs have found their way into two mainstream Hindi films - Baadshaho and Hindi Medium. Comprising of Neeraj Arya on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Mukund Ramaswamy on Violin, Raman Iyer on Mandolin, Viren Solanki on Drums, Poubuanpou Britto KC on Bass Guitar and Vikram Brahmankar on Percussions, their Debut Album Panchrang won the Best Folk Fusion Artist - Critic's Choice at the Radio City Freedom Awards 2016.
He has performed all over the country, both solo as well as with a full-fledged band. Neeraj Arya's Kabir Cafe is a venture where Neeraj, Mukund Ramaswamy, Raman Iyer, Viren Solanki and Poubuanpou Britto KC strive to present the poetry of Kabir in a musically interesting fashion without compromising its lyrical beauty.
