About
Best remembered for his performance in the 2015 action thriller NH10 opposite Anushka Sharma, Neil Bhoopalam is an Indian film and television actor. While he made his debut in 2006 with the Indie movie Offshore, he gained recognition only after he was cast in the biographical crime drama No One Killed Jessica, where he played the role of Vikram Jai Singh.
He then went on to appear in the rather offbeat Shaitan, a crime thriller directed by Bejoy Nambiar, in 2010, playing one of the lead roles in the multi-starrer movie. Making his Indian television debut, Neil was seen in the Indian adaptation of the American crime series 24. Titled the same, 24 featured Neil playing the role of the youth icon and presidential candidate whose life is under threat. Featured alongside the likes of Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, and Tisca Chopra, the series went on to become one of the best crime series on television.
Meanwhile, he was also seen in Y-Films` YouTube mini-series Bang Baaja Baaraat, playing the role of Sarang. Reprising the role of Aditya Singhania, Neil was a part of 24`s second season in 2016. In 2018, he featured alongside Saif Ali Khan in the black comedy Kaalakaandi.
