Nia Vardalos is a Canadian actress and writer, known for her roles in My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) and I Hate Valentine`s Day (2009). She has been a part of various television series like Grey`s Anatomy, My Big Fat Greek Life (2003) and Star vs. the Forces of Evil. She has acted in and written the upcoming comedy film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, slated to release in May, 2016.
