Editor Nick Fenton has worked across many genres. He has a longstanding relationship with Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller, which began with the filmed re-enactment of The Battle Of Orgreave directed by Mike Figgis. His documentary and television credits include The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off, for which Nick won a BAFTA TV Award for Best Factual Editing, and more recently as part of the team that cut the Emmy award-winning series "Exodus: Our Journey To Europe", for which they won an RTS Award for Best Factual Editing and that was also nominated for a BAFTA TV Award.

Fenton`s feature documentary credits include the BAFTA-nominated Taking Liberties and the kaleidoscopic musical journey All Tomorrow`s Parties. His other musical collaborations have been with Sigur Ros on their films Heima and Inni. Fenton`s comedy credits include Julia Davis`s Nighty Night and the Charlie Brooker / Chris Morris satirical series Nathan Barley. His television drama credits include two of David Hare`s "The Worricker Trilogy," "Turks and Caicos" and "Salting The Battlefield."

Fenton co-directed, with Peter Strickland, and edited the ambitious music documentary film Bjork: Biophilia Live for the hugely popular Icelandic singer. Fenton`s feature film credits include Richard Ayoade`s Submarine and The Double, Anton Corbyn`s Life, Benedict Andrews` Una starring Rooney Mara and Ben Mendelsohn, and also Ian McEwan`s screen adaptation of his novel On Chesil Beach directed by Dominic Cooke starring Saoirse Ronan. Fention has also collaborated with acclaimed director Clio Barnard for 20 years including Clio`s first two highly distinct feature films The Arbor and The Selfish Giant, and most recently, Dark River. Before working on A Private War, Fenton edited the 2018 Sundance hit American Animals with director Bart Layton.
