An older sister to the Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, Nikhat Khan is a producer of Bollywood films. In 1990 she produced her first film, also her father Tahir Khan`s directorial debut, Tum Mere Ho. Prior to that, she had worked in the costume and makeup department for a few movies like Hum Kisise Kum Nahi (1977) and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). Her 2019 releases include Saand Ki Aankh, which is also her debut as an actress. It is a film based on the sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar, in which Nikhat plays the role of the Maharani of Alwar.
