Nikhil Mehrotra is a writer who works predominantly in Bollywood. Starting his career in the advertising industry, Nikhil started his screenwriting career with the sequel to Bhootnath (2008), Bhootnath Returns in 2014 where he worked with director-writer Nitesh Tiwari. After a smashing debut, he moved on to write the screenplay as well as dialogues for Kill Dil (2014), and subsequently wrote Banjo (2016). He collaborated with Nitesh Tiwari again for Dangal in 2016, which became a blockbuster film. His more recent projects include Chhichhore (2019) and Panga (2020), which stars Kangana Ranaut.
