Nimrat Kaur is an Indian actress and model, whose debut stint, Tera Mera Pyaar (2002), marked the beginning of her acting endeavor. Nimrat has appeared in over 80 television commercials and print campaigns, which include ICICI, Videocon, Samsung and Cadbury. Thereafter, she appeared in a video titled, Yeh Kya Hua (2004) and films such as Yahaan (2005), One Night With The King (2006), Encounter (2010) , Peddlers (2012) and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana (2012). In 2009, Kaur began her career in theatre with veteran Sunil Shanbag in a musical where she was required to play four diverse characters. The Oscar nominated film, The Lunchbox (2013), helped her carve a niche for herself in Bollywood and also won her global recognition. She later went onto bag a pivotal role in the American TV series, Homeland. Nimrat was cast opposite Akshay Kumar in the 2016 movie, Airlift.
