Nirmal Baby Varghese is an Indian film director and producer. He is best known for his historical documentary film Thariode. His feature directorial debut, `Vazhiye`, was an experimental movie made in found footage style making it the first of its kind in Malayalam cinema. The film is also noted for featuring Hollywood composer Evan Evans in his Indian debut. He is also a scriptwriter and film editor. He runs his own production company called Casablanca Film Factory. He has won 16 IMDb awards including the Kerala State Television Award and 12 nominations. He is currently directing many upcoming films, including Thariode The Lost City.
