Nithyasree, also known as Nithyasree Mahadevan, is an Indian film singer starred in Tamil and Telugu movies. She debuted in the Tamil film Jeans in the year 1998 as playback singer. She won Kalaimamani award from the Government of Tamil Nadu. She has also appeared as judge in Television shows which also includes Airtel Super Singer. She has won various awards including Kalaignar virudhu and Yuva Kala Bharathi from Bharath Kalachar.
